Basil Pesto Pasta

Today we learn how to make the delicious basil pesto pasta. This pasta is super easy to make with just a couple of ingredients and perfect to eat both cold or hot.
225g Pasta (sauce is thick enough to stick to any pasta of your choice)
1 cup Basil
3 tbsp Pine Nuts
1 glove Garlic (peeled)
1/3 cup Parmigiano Regiano
1/3 cup Olive Oil
(Optional) 5 Cherry Tomatoes (cut in half)
Combine basil, pine nuts, garlic glove and parmesan cheese in a blender.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
With blender running (slowly), start adding olive oil.
Blend well until no pieces of basil or pine nuts can be seen.
Cook pasta al dente following package instructions.
Mix pasta and sauce
(Optional) Heat up pesto in a sauce pan over low heat
(Optional) Add some cherry tomatoes cut in half.
Serve and top off with some parmesan cheese.
