Pan con Tomate y Jamón
Updated: Oct 19, 2021
This one is a classic and a truly popular dish and breakfast in Spain. The name says it all pretty much; bread, tomato and spanish jamón. The perfect combination for an incredibly simple yet delicious dish.
1-2 gloves Garlic (I personally love black garlic)
Olive Oil (a good one)
2-4 slices Jamón (prosciutto will also work)
Remove the tomatoes stems and cut the tomatoes in 4 pieces each.
Add tomatoes, a generous drizzle of olive oil and salt to a blender and blend the mix for around 6-10 seconds.
Toast pieces of bread.
Peel garlic gloves and rub them against one side of the pieces of toast.
Spread a layer (to taste) of the tomato mix over the toast.
Spread a thin layer of jamón over the toast.
Finish with some olive oil.
(Optional) Grate some truffle on top.
